OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - FRIDAY 7th of MAY 2010
Starlight Stage Productions have been granted rights to stage the much loved family musical “THE WIZARD OF OZ” in August 2010. The show will feature our Masterclass Summer Class (Any children from from our younger classes over 8 that wish to be involved can also take part if they want- ask for details). The Wizard of Oz will open at Kilkenny’s SET THEATRE on Friday 20th of August at 8.00pm and will also play a mini south east tour after its run at The Set.
There will be a Dorothy search taking place in a couple of weeks time for Girls aged 10-14 years who would like to play the leading role. Audition info to follow soon.

Auditions at SET THEATRE, KILKENNY on Saturday 29th of May from 2.00pm onwards. If you are a girl aged between 10-14 and have a good singing voice and would like the chance to star in a Musical leading role this summer, call us now to book an audition time. You will need to sing two songs (well half of two songs) - one musical song (Wizard of Oz or other musical) and one Pop song! Successful singers put through will be sent to Dorothy Camp at Starlight Studios the following weekend and the Dorothy Search Grand Final will be held at the Set Theatre on Sunday 13th of June at 2.30pm with the winner being cast as Dorothy in the show.
