Disney’s Mulan Jr announced as Autumn musical !
Starlight Stage Productions are delighted to officially announce that their next show will be Disney’s Mulan Jr. The show will be staged in November at Starlight Studios for three weeks. Casting will be done at end of August/beginning of September and rehearsals will commence immediately.
ABOUT MULAN JR -
Travel back to the legendary, story-telling days of ancient China with this action-packed stage adaptation of Disney’s Mulan. The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous sidekick Mushu to save the Emperor! Mulan JR. is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit. The score includes favorites like Mulan’s “Reflection”, the girls “Honor to Us All” and Shang’s “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” as well as new songs such as Mushu’s “Keep Em Guessin” that will get your audience up on its feet!
CASTING -
Primary Auditions will be held at Starlight Studios on Tuesday 25th of August from 2.00pm onwards. Singers interested in auditioning for a role should note that they will need to learn one of the shows two big character songs.
Mulan Audition Song - “Reflection” (Also appropriate song for all Female Roles)
Shang Audition Song - “I’ll Make A Man Out Of You” (also appropriate for all other Male Roles)
